The aim of the study is to evaluate the loss amounts realized and premium yield in Health Insurance sector. For this reason, private health insurance data between 2012 and 2016 have been obtained from the internet site of Turkey Insurance Association (https://www.tsb.org.tr) the evaluation and proportional analysis of premium yield and loss premiums for thesaid years have been realized. As a result of the evaluation, it is seen that the amount of the premium yields for health insurance is increasing year by year. İt is also seen that loss premium amounts are increasing every year in the same way. Agents have very important significance in realizing health insurance premium yields. As many of the premium yields are realized by the agents, the sales channels that must be careful for premium/loss balance can be said to be the agents as well.
