Abstract:
This study is carried out in order to measure effects of talent management practises at academic institution on academic staff’s loyalty to the organization, their job satisfaction and their willingness to quitting thier job. For this purpose, a questionnaire is applied to 362 academic staff working at public universities in Western Blacksea Region. In this questionnaire, four different scales are used. These scales are Talent Management Scale, Organizational Commitment Scale, Job Satisfaction Scale and Intention for Leaving The Job Scale. Obtained data are analyzed via SPSS Package Programme 20.0. T Test, ANOVA, Frequency and Regression Analyses are used. Findings show that talent management has positive effects on organizational loyalty and job satisfaction and negative effects on willingness to quitting the job. This result is a very important evidence that talent management is very effective for academic institutions.
